* Starfish Group Jan. 9 Anyone 80 years of age or older qualifies as a “Starfish.” Join this lively group for discussions ranging from childhood memories right on up to current events and topics of interest to you. This group will meet on Friday, Jan. 9, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., at New Seasons Assisted Living, 600 Medical Center Drive, Washington Township. * AARP Defensive Driving Course Jan. 15 and 16 An eight-hour, two-day classroom course designed by AARP to refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques will be held on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, 435 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Washington Township.
